advertisementWhat to Do With Preschoolers
advertisementStop by Guest Relations at each Walt Disney World theme park to pick up a Magical Beginnings Park Map designed especially for families traveling with little ones. It points out must-see attractions, the best places to meet the Disney characters, plus restroom, first aid, and baby care locations.
advertisementCollecting character autographs can be great fun for preschoolers, but be prepared: some preschoolers may find the theme park characters intimidating. If your child has a favorite character you want to be sure to meet, stop by Guest Relations. The Cast Members there can call a hotline to find out exactly when and where your child's favorite characters will be appearing on that day.
advertisementFamily-Friendly Highlights & Tips
advertisementDisney's FASTPASS system will help you reduce the amount of time you wait in line. Use your theme park tickets to obtain free FASTPASSES at select attractions. Enjoy other attractions in the area until the time listed on your FASTPASS. Then return to the attraction through the FASTPASS RETURN entrance and you'll experience the ride with little or no wait!
advertisementRemember to bring sunscreen and a hat, and drink lots of liquids; wear casual, comfortable clothes and also don't forget to wear comfortable walking shoes. Consider bringing a light raincoat or umbrella.
advertisementDon't forget to measure your child's height before coming to the park so you know which rides your child is eligible to ride.
advertisementDisney offers Rider Swap option at most of the attractions. The adults in your family can take turns waiting with youngsters too small to ride a certain attraction, then "swap" with another adult in your family to experience the ride without standing in line twice. Ask the Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction to enjoy a Rider Swap.
advertisementMake a plan with your children on where to meet if you become separated in the park. Lost children are generally brought to the Baby Care center located in each theme park.
