The Danish maker of LEGOS is behind this cheerful, geometric theme park, which offers more than 50 rides and attractions including a Duplo play town, a train ride, and a safari featuring life-sized LEGO animals. Preschoolers give high marks to the Musical Fountain, which makes water (and music) fly out of brightly colored instruments when kids stomp on a series of colored pads.

LEGOLAND California is now 12 years old, and each year, they've open up brand-new attractions and rides that offer something for everyone to "build" on their enthusiasm. New attractions include Pirate Shores, four new high-sea-based adventures, where your little buccaneers can shoot water cannons, ride water flumes, and more.
