
French Toast

2 eggs |
 |
 |
1/2 cup milk |
 |
 |
Pinch of cinnamon |
 |
 |
3 to 4 bread slices (preferably stale challah or sourdough) |
 |
 |
1 tbsp. butter |
 |
 |
Maple syrup, powdered sugar, or orange/raspberry juice concentrate (optional) |

Step 1
Crack the eggs into a bowl.

Step 3
Let kids put in a pinch of cinnamon!

Step 4
Whisk until well blended.
|


Step 5
Pour the mixture into a pie pan.
|


Step 6
Dip both sides of each slice of bread in the mixture until well soaked.
|


Step 7
Put the slices on a plate.
|


Step 8
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
|


Step 9
Put the bread in the skillet.
|


Step 10
Cook the bread for five minutes or until brown underneath.

Step 11
Flip each slice and cook the other side for five more minutes or until brown.
|


Step 12
Transfer the bread to a clean plate and add the topping of your choice. You've made French toast!
