This recipe works well with many fresh fruits, including blueberries, strawberries, peaches, raspberries, and nectarines. You can also use frozen fruit that's been thawed and drained. The yogurt and creamy tofu (undetectable to finicky eaters) turn these smoothies into delicious, high-powered beverages.

Ingredients
2 cups cut fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, etc.)
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
4 tbsp. soft tofu
8 ice cubes

Start Cooking

Step 1
Offer your child a choice of fruits and ask him to help you stem, cut, and remove the pits. Parents will want to do the heavy-duty cutting. Kids can cut soft fruits with a plastic knife.

Step 2
Help your child measure out the ingredients and put them in the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
