Ingredients
Vanilla frosting
Assorted food coloring
Plain unfrosted cupcakes
Colored sugar
Sprinkles
Mini marshmallows
Assorted colored taffy
Assorted colored jelly beans
Assorted gum drops
Assorted favorite small candies

Start Cooking

Step 1
Spoon the frosting into several small bowls.

Step 2
Tint to desired colors by mixing in a few drops of food coloring.

Step 3
Spread the frosting on top of the cupcakes with an offset spatula or a plastic knife.

Step 4
To make your own creative designs, spoon some of the tinted frosting into a resealable bag. Snip a small corner from the bag and pipe fun designs on top of the cupcakes.

Step 5
Decorate the cupcakes using the different colored frostings you've made.

Step 6
Once the cupcakes have been frosted, your child can decorate with colored sugar, sprinkles, marshmallows, and other assorted candies.

Step 7
To make fun, arty designs, roll out the colored taffy and gum drops to flatten. Cut out creative shapes such as hearts, stars, and flowers, and decorate the cupcakes.

Tip:
To make Blue's paw print, flatten out the blue jelly beans and taffy.
