This recipe is taken from Nick Jr. Family Magazine's Cooking with Kids issue, on newstands now.

Ingredients
1 tube (8 oz.) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 Golden Delicious apple
6 tbsp. applesauce
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3-in. round cookie cutter
Greased 6-cup muffin tin

Start Cooking

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Unroll the crescent rolls from the tube and separate into two rectangles. Roll the rectangles with a rolling pin to seal.

Step 2
Cut three circles from each rectangle using a 3-inch round cookie cutter. Press the dough into each of six individual muffin cups.

Step 3
Peel, core, and thinly slice the apple. Divide the slices evenly among dough-lined cups.

Step 4
Top each apple cup with 1 tablespoon of applesauce. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the apples.

Step 5
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool before eating.
