Ingredients
1/2 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice (about 3 lemons)
1 cup strawberries, washed and leaves trimmed
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups water
Ice cubes
4 fresh mint sprigs

Start Cooking

Step 1
In a blender or food processor, combine the lemon juice with the strawberries and sugar. Replace the lid and process the mixture on high until the strawberries are completely puréed.

Step 2
If your kids do not like pulp in their drinks, pour the mixture through a strainer and press the pulp to squeeze out all the juice.

Step 3
Add the strained or unstrained mixture into a pitcher. Pour in the water and stir until the mixture is completely blended.

Step 4
Fill four 8-ounce cups with ice cubes. Pour the lemonade over the ice. Garnish the drinks with a sprig of mint and serve. If your kids like a little fizz in their drinks, then use one cup of water with one cup of seltzer water.

Step 5
No fresh lemons? Combine one cup puréed strawberries with one container lemonade concentrate. Add 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of seltzer.
