Franklin

Franklin is an every kid, really. He has all the qualities that make him a great friend. He is kind, considerate and sensitive to others, always there to lend a hand. Franklin has grown in may ways: he's overcome some of his fears, developed new skills, and has deepened his friendships. Franklin isn't perfect and struggles to do the right thing. Fortunately, the caring people of Woodland help him find the right path.

Bear

Franklin's closest buddy is the dependable and loyal Bear, but thatÂ’s probably because they have so much in common. They both love sports, playing pirates, and gobbling up yummy, healthy snacks. Bear is perhaps the bravest of Franklin's friends. He can be superstitious at times, and he still needs a little nap. He loves a good joke and next to snack time playing pretend is his favorite activity.

Beaver

Like the rest of her family Beaver is happiest whens she's busy working on a project. Beaver is a natural leader and underneath her tough exterior she is sensitive and good-hearted, and loves lending a hand to others. Naturally, Beaver is an excellent builder and a great swimmer and reads and studies constantly.

Rabbit

Rabbit is the practical joker of the crew. He's the first to laugh and the quickest to see the bright side of a bad situation. While Rabbit is quite talkative, he is also self-conscious and shy in front of groups. Rabbit is best friends with Fox, because both boys love excitement and spontaneity. There seems to be no activity that Rabbit can't master. He is member of all the sports teams and is a whiz on rollerblades.

Harriet Turtle

Franklin's little sister loves her big brother and spend most her time playing and learning. Harriet looks up to Franklin and often wants to include him in her games; however, she also has an independent streak. She is a happy, independent, playful and outgoing toddler.

Goose

Goose is Franklin's only friend with wings, and she can be a bit clumsy. She is very kind, non-judgmental and empathetic but at time can be very gullible. She is best friends with chatty Beaver, so she has to get her ideas out when she can; as a result she is given to blurting sometimes. Goose is graceful ballerina and fine skater, but she much prefers quiet games and imaginative play.

Fox

Fox is quick-witted, self-confident and inventive. He is just as bright as Beaver, but while Beaver studies, Fox's knowledge comes from tinkering and exploring. He's an unconventional thinker, and at times, mischievous and impetuous. Fox is a charmer; his easy smile and magnetic personality can win over most, with the possible exception of Beaver. Fox is best friends with Rabbit.

Snail

Snail is the smallest of Franklin's friends, but that doesn't stop him from joining in the fun. While Snail appreciates a little help from his friends--especially hitching a ride on Franklin's shell--he also likes to solve problems on his own using his unique snail perspective. He is bright and kind, and always able to get to the heart of the problem.
