This game requires only one player.

Language includes listening, comprehension, speech, reading, and writing. It lays the foundation for future learning, relationships, conflict resolution, and self-confidence.

Mixing paint colors, watching objects sink or float, observing the weather, and exploring animal habitats together are ways to introduce preschoolers to scientific concepts.

When introduced to foreign places, climates, language, food, and dress, preschoolers begin to learn cultural and geographical similarities and differences.

Preschoolers learn foreign words during gameplay. Children learn languages at a faster pace than adults; this early learning may also improve native language and math skills.

Use the mouse to click on a bird or animal in Diego's Field Journal. A small clip with a fact about the animal appears. You can also click on the footprint and click to hear the animals' sounds. Want a field journal of your own? All of Diego's animals are printable.

Parent Tip: Kids can practice making the sound before it is played to test their own knowledge.
