What Is the Go Healthy Challenge?

The Let's Just Play Go Healthy Challenge is a six-month campaign that engages kids in every community to help counter the trend toward a sedentary lifestyle and poor nutritional choices.

The Let's Just Play Go Healthy Challenge inspires and empowers kids to make healthy changes in their lives and in their communities.

Each month is dedicated to a theme:

  • April: Self-Assessment & Setting Goals

  • May: Nutrition & Exercise Basics

  • June: Finding Balance

  • July: Finding Time to Exercise & Eat Healthy

  • August: Be Leaders at Home & in Your Community

  • September: Celebrate Your Success!

  • How Can I Take the Challenge?

    Join Us On-Air & Online!
This year, Nickelodeon is following two kids, Kendrick & April, who are taking the challenge. Kids at home will be inspired and motivated by their stories on-air, and can go online to find out more about Kendrick & April, to get updates on the Challenge, to find healthy tips, and to download their own personal Go Healthy Challenge Tracker!

Join the Worldwide Day of Play
On Saturday, September 29, Nickelodeon goes dark all afternoon and kids around the country take part in special events, games, and activities! To find out more, visit Nick.com.

Get a Grant or Win a Giveaway!
Nickelodeon will award hundreds of thousands of dollars to community groups, schools, and other organizations. There are also other awards and special prizes, like having the "Slime Across America" bus come to your child's school or a trip to the Nick Hotel!
