Browsers
A browser is a software program that lets you surf the Web. You're using a browser right now to visit us at Nickjr.com! However, you may still need to upgrade to a newer browser if you want to experience all that NickJr.com has to offer. If you're not running Netscape Navigator 7.0 or higher or Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher, it's time to download and install the latest update:

Each time you upgrade your browser, you'll also need to download and install two plug-ins, Macromedia® Shockwave™ version 8.5 or better and the Flash™ Player version 6 (MX) or better, which help your browser run games and display animation. (You'll also need these with your current browser if you've never installed them before.)

In order to watch video on our site you'll need Windows Media 9 (for Windows) or QuickTime (for Macintosh):

AOL Users
If you use AOL, we recommend you use AOL Version 7.0 or higher. To upgrade to a higher version of AOL, check AOL for more information.

Macintosh Users
If you're using a Macintosh, you'll need Internet Explorer version 5.22 or if you're using OS X 10.3, Safari. Unfortunately, any earlier version of Internet Explorer does not work with the Macromedia Flash Player on a Macintosh.
