Preschool math is about much more than numbers. Your kids will be exploring and playing with math concepts in fun-filled, short features starring familiar friends like Mili, Geo and Bot, as well as a few Nick Jr. characters you might not expect!

Each Count It Up spot was created specifically to show how math is part of our everyday lives and how solving math problems is fun and rewarding. Count It Up also encourages curiosity, creativity, and an enthusiasm for experimentation in kids. And it reinforces another important math concept: tenacity. Nick Jr.'s characters are regular kids who work hard, ask questions, and stick with it until they get the answer--just like your kids.

Nick Jr. Supersonic Science shows kids that science is all around them, and that it's fun. In every short feature, Nick Jr. characters ask questions, make observations, formulate explanations, and test their hypotheses with young viewers. The interactivity is built in, reinforcing for kids that science is something they do, not something that is done to them.

A few themes explored in Super Sonic Science include natural science, like animals and plants, as well as the world around us. The themes are all subjects that preschoolers are already curious and excited about (pets, flowers, colors, even dinosaurs!) and they are explored in playful ways alongside favorite characters like Dora , Bubble Guppies, and Diego.

Through playful, interactive short features--starring the family of Nick Jr. friends--Worldwide helps kids to make connections between themselves and others, to strive for good global citizenship, and to see themselves and their experiences as interconnected and dependent on others.

A few themes explored in Worldwide include fairness, acceptance of others, responsibility, plus preschool-appropriate information about living in a democracy, American history and World history, geography, and world cultures.

In every Get a Move On short feature, Nick Jr. characters demonstrate and model for your kids appropriate healthy habits like exercise (free play, organized sports, games), personal health, and good nutrition. They also playfully explore subjects like staying healthy through good hygiene, as well as improving gross and fine motor skills through play. You'll see these topics throughout the day in your kids' favorite Nick Jr. shows, too, because our goal is to make healthy habits a part of your child's every day routine.

Nick Jr. All Together Now shows kids how to identify and understand their feelings, express and manage those feelings, and it also develops kids' empathy for others. In each short piece, the Nick Jr. family of characters invites kids to play games, sing songs, and find solutions to interpersonal problems in fun and interactive ways.

Developing these social and emotional skills encourages kids to become more sensitive, caring and considerate. And it also bolsters kids' attention spans and helps them persevere while working on difficult problems. All of these skills will be essential to success when starting school.
