Laura G. Brown is a psychologist and educator who believes in the power of media to support children's development and impart valuable lessons while it entertains. A long-time Nick Jr. advisor, Dr. Brown creates curricula for educational shows, oversees the research of those shows, and ensures that all materials are developmentally and educationally appropriate.
advertisementDr. Brown is currently Nick Jr.'s Curriculum Producer. In that role, she is developing an educational pedagogy and curriculum for each of Nick Jr.'s eight educational areas, both on-air and online. She is also involved in many Nick Jr. shows including Wonder Pets!, Ni Hao, Kai-lan, The Backyardigans, Olivia, and Blue's Clues.
advertisementDr. Brown served as Director of Research and Curriculum at Little Airplane Productions from 2001 to 2009. In addition, she has consulted on over 30 television shows for a range of clients. She also served on the educational advisory board of Discovery Kids and was the Curriculum Director on their Emmy-nominated shows Paz the Penguin and ToddWorld.
advertisementBefore working full-time in educational media, Dr. Brown was also a practicing psychologist, specializing in learning disabilities. She received her Ph.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University, and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Anne Lund is a children's media consultant specializing in educational curriculum development and media research. She has worked with various media outlets and research groups including Nick Jr., Sesame Workshop, Playhouse Disney, and The Michael Cohen Group.
advertisementLund's work with Nick Jr. began in 2007 with the Brand Creative Group at Noggin. In addition to her current work for Nick Preschool Brand Creative, she has written and consulted on various pieces for Nick Jr. online and serves as curriculum consultant for The Fresh Beat Band. She has also conducted formative research for network shows in development.
advertisementPrior to working with Nick Jr., Lund was Director of Research and Curriculum for Little Einsteins (Disney Channel), overseeing formative testing of all show episodes and advising the production on the show's music curriculum and child development issues. She also served as writer for one of the show's episodes.
advertisementAnne received a B.A. in Psychobiology from Swarthmore College and her Master's Degree in Developmental Psychology from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is a member of the Society for Research in Child Development and also has experience teaching first and fourth grades. She lives with her husband and two young sons in White Plains, NY.
