Make a Diego Sun Visor

Spend more time outside with this Diego sun visor. Craft glue designed specifically for craft foam is recommended. It adheres better and dries quickly.

What You Need
Yellow craft foam visor, available at crafts supply stores
Large sheet of green craft foam for the leaf shapes
Printable leaf templates
Pen or marker for tracing
Scissors
Craft glue
Optional: Clothespins or binder clips; light green craft foam sheet

What You Do

Make the leaves
On the sheet of green craft foam, have kids trace the leaf templates and cut them out. (Parents may need to help with the leaf indentations.)

Glue on the leaves
Glue on the leaves, splaying them slightly as shown. Optional: You can cut out a small light green flower and glue to the top of the leaves as we've done, or leave as is.

Let dry
Set aside the visor to dry. If you wish, use clothespins or binder clips to keep the petal and flower center from shifting while the glue is still wet.
