What You Do

Step 1
Cut a purple fabric cape to fit your child from her neck to her knees. Attach the Velcro strips to the top of the cape and the shoulders of the long-john top.

Step 2
Cut out a purple felt bow. Attach to front of shirt with Velcro.

Step 3
Cut a thumbhole in each of the socks to make hand mitts.

Step 4
Glue a strip of periwinkle felt onto the headband to cover it.

Step 5
Glue a triangle of lavender fabric to the center of the headband so it falls over your child's forehead in a "V."

Step 6
Cut out ears freehand using periwinkle felt and light-blue felt. Glue the ears to top of the headband.

Step 7
Cut a few short lengths of blue yarn, tie in a knot at bottom, and glue to headband for Periwinkle's tuft of hair.

Step 8
To make the magical goody bag and magic wand, first cut a top hat from the black construction paper and glue to the white bag. Glue a strip of purple paper around the top hat.

Step 9
Spray or paint the dowel black and paint on the white tips.
