Yo Gabba Gabba Puppets

What You Do

Step 1: Print Out the Backdrops
Print the seven-page Puppet Theater Printables. There are four backdrops to use inside the box, two radio "doors," and a page of Yo Gabba Gabba cut-outs for general decoration.

Step 2: Set Design
Create your own unique set design on the inside of the box with the backdrops provided. Help your preschooler choose which backdrops to use and cut to fit the back and sides of the box as needed.

The Yo Gabba Gabba burst was attached to the front of the box with a folded index card used as backing and glued to the top of the box.

The radio "doors" can be folded to meet in the middle of the box and attached with tape to the sides of the box (see photo above).

Step 3: Make the Puppets
Print out this two-page Yo Gabba Gabba puppets printable and cut out the five characters: Plex, Muno, Brobee, Foofa, and Toodee. Attach them with glue stick to craft sticks.

Step 4: Put on a Show
Place the box on the edge of a table and add a loop of sticky tape to the bottom to attach it firmly in place. With your child seated in front of the box, he or she can use the Yo Gabba Gabba Puppets to put on a show in front of the box.
