Spend a cool summer together with Blue! Start with a store-bought foam visor, then add Blue's eyes, nose, mouth, and tongue. We used foam sheets for these pieces, but you can use felt if you like.

What You Need
Blue foam sun visor (from craft store)
Pale blue foam sheet for nose and spots
Red foam sheet for the mouth
White foam sheet for eyes
Black marker
Dark blue foam sheet for ears
Craft glue
Scissors

What You Do

Cut out the shapes

  • From the pale blue foam sheet, cut out a nose shape and spots for Blue's ears and face.

  • From the red foam sheet, cut out a crescent shape for the mouth.

  • Cut two ovals from the white foam for eyes, and then use the black marker to draw the pupils on the eyes.

  • Cut two big ears from the dark blue foam sheet.

  • Put together and let dry

  • Glue the mouth to the inside of the visor so that it drops down slightly at the front.

  • Glue the eyes, nose, and mouth to the visor, using this photo as a guide.

  • Add the ears and the spots.

  • Let the visor dry for about one hour.
