What You Need
5 black pipe cleaners
1 large black pom-pom
1 small black pom-pom
2 googly eyes
Clear craft glue
1 pen or pencil

What You Do

STEP 1: Create the Base
Use one pipe cleaner to make a supporting base for the spider's head and body:

Coil the end of the pipe cleaner around the pen twice to make a double-layered small ring for the head support. Pinch it together slightly so it holds its shape.

Wrap the rest of the pipe cleaner around the pen and bend half of the coil over to create two multilayered rings for the body support. Tuck the sharp end of the pipe cleaner into the coil.

STEP 2: Make the Legs
Wrap the remaining four pipe cleaners around the supporting base, leaving half of each pipe cleaner on each side of the base. Curl up the ends of the legs to help them stand still.

STEP 3: Put Things Together
Glue the large black pom-pom to the two-ring body base to make the body.

Glue the small pom-pom to the one-ring head base to make the head.

Finish it up by gluing the googly eyes to the head.
