What You Need
Green hooded sweatshirt
Green fleece pajama bottoms
Tuck Costume Templates
3 jumbo pieces dark green stiff felt
Scissors
Bright green slick paint
Needle and thread
Fabric glue
27" x 54" blue fleece, cotton, or bed sheet
8 1/2" x 11" swatches of yellow, blue, and red felt
White knit cap
Red pom-pom
Light blue fabric marker
Blue water shoes
Green face paint (optional)

What You Do

Step 1
Cut the sleeves off the hooded sweatshirt and set aside with the pajama bottoms. Print the Tuck Costume Templates and enlarge the templates on a copier by 200 percent. Cut out the templates and use them as a guide to cut out the dark green felt for Tuck's shell. Use slick paint to make outlines on the shell and allow the paint to dry overnight. Sew or use fabric glue to attach the green felt to the hooded sweatshirt.

Step 2
Use the blue fabric and yellow, blue, and red felt to make a Wonder Pets Cape for Tuck.

Step 3
Tack the cap with a few stitches here and there to hold it into the shape of a flat sailor's hat. Sew the red pom-pom on top. Paint a blue stripe around the bottom of the cap with the fabric marker.

Step 4
Dress your child in the green pajama bottoms, add water shoes, the cape, and the hat, and apply some green face paint. Now your child is ready to "save the day" and have a happy Halloween.
