Step 1: Getting ready
Help your preschooler cut out the printable clock face, pendulum and his or her favorite Yo Gabba Gabba! character. Trim the paper plate down by an inch or two and make a hole in the center. TIP: Gently bend the plate in half in order to reach the center with a hole punch.
OPTIONAL: Laminate cut-out pieces at your local copy store for longer play life. If laminating, you don't need to use a paper plate.
Step 2: Assemble the clock pieces
Punch a hole in the center of the clock face before gluing down to the paper plate. Glue one of the characters to the bottom of the pendulum. Punch holes at the rounded ends of the hour and minute hands and at the top of the pendulum.
Step 3: Connect the pieces together
Use a brad fastener to connect the pieces as shown. The hands will be in the front and the pendulum will hang from behind. Once assembled, hang from a doorknob with string or ribbon, or attach to the wall.
