Foofa's Fun in the Sun Visor

Have fun in the sun with this visor that's been Foofa-fied! Craft glue designed specifically for craft foam is recommended. It adheres better and dries more quickly.

What You Need
Pink craft foam visor, available at crafts supply stores
Large sheet of paler (or darker) pink craft foam for the petals
Wooden spoon (for tracing petal shapes)
Pen or marker for tracing
Scissors
Craft glue
Small piece of yellow foam for the center
Optional: Clothespins or binder clips

What You Do

Make the petals
On a sheet of pink craft foam, have kids trace the petal shapes using a wooden spoon. Cut them out so that each measures about 1 inch longer than the visor itself. Glue on the petals one by one.

Make the flower center
Kids can trace a mug or glass to create a circle. Cut it out, then trim it to fit the upper edge of the visor. Glue in place on top of the petals.

Let dry
Set aside the visor to dry. If you wish, use clothespins or binder clips to keep the petal and flower center from shifting while the glue is still wet.
