Scavenger Hunt Game

Print this Page Send to a friend

Rain or shine, kids will enjoy playing this scavenger hunt game in which they look for items from LazyTown characters.

WHAT YOU NEED

Get Up & Go! printable
8.5" x 11" heavy-weight ink jet paper
Child-safety scissors
Cold lamination sheets (optional)

PREPARING TO PLAY

Step 1
Print both sheets of the Get Up & Go! printable onto the heavy-weight paper. A color inkjet printer will give the best results.

Step 2
Laminate the pieces before cutting them apart; this will protect the game cards and give them a longer play life.

Place the printed game-card page between a sheet of sticky, cold laminate. Follow the instructions on the package to properly cover and seal the playing card page.

Use child-safety scissors to cut game-card pieces apart once they are properly laminated.

PLAYING THE GAME

Hide the Cards
While kids aren't watching, hide the six pieces throughout the house or yard, depending on where you will play the game.

Begin the Search
If there are four or more kids playing, have them pair up into groups of two. They will need to work together to find the different hidden LazyTown items.

Print enough copies of the checklist sheets for each child or team of two. Post one checklist on a wall where kids can review the items that have been hidden, then send them on to begin their search.

And the Winner Is...
The team or child that finds the most items wins.

The winning team/child will then get to hide the pieces again for another round of Stephanie's "Get Up & Go!" scavenger hunt.
