Expert Tips
Prep your preschooler for their first-ever sledding outing by having them sit on a skateboard or a scooter. Push them around or have them ride down a driveway or a not-so-steep hill. Always make sure that you know exactly what the terrain underneath the snow is like, and always take a few practice runs by yourself before you let your kids go down. But don't be too afraid of falls: snow is the perfect cushion and stumbles, after all, are half the fun!

Game

Sled Race
A few sleds, a few friends, and a wide-open space are required for this game. Just set up a start and finish line and let the games begin! Time your kids' runs down the hill, and whoever finishes the fastest is the winner!
