What You Need
Backpack (make a Dora backpack or use your own)
Small toys and trinkets
Blindfold
Small slips of paper (optional)
Hat or bowl (optional)

What You Do

Step 1
Choose small toys and other items with different textures and shapes--such as plastic animals, action figures, and soft stuffed toys--and put them in the backpack.

Step 2
Put the blindfold on the child (or have her close her eyes) and let her reach into the backpack, pull out an item, and try to guess what it is.

Step 3
Turn this activity into a party game by having guests choose numbers out of a hat and taking turns reaching into the backpack. If the child cannot guess what the item is, offer suggestions. Each child gets to keep the item she chooses as a prize.
