Blue's Scavenger Hunt Clues

What You Do

Step 1
Print the paw prints and help your child cut each one out.

Step 2
Print the book of scavenger hunt clues. Each of the three pages includes a list of household items for you to gather and directions on where to hide them.

Step 3
Place a printable paw print on each hidden item so that your kids will be able to identify it.

Step 4
Send kids on the hunt for the clues using the clues.

Step 5
After they find each item, have them bring it back to the starting point. (Designate a chair or couch as the "Thinking Chair.") If you'd like, you can help kids draw each clue in a notebook, like Joe's Handy Dandy Notebook.

Step 6
When they find all three items, ask your kids, "What does Blue Want?" If they have trouble, coach them along with your own hints. Sing "We Just Figured out Blue's Clues!" when they get the answer.

Step 7
When you've done all three scavenger hunts, try making up your own. For example: Hide a hat, gloves, and a coat. What does Blue want? Blue wants to go outside!
