Dora & Diego First Aid Kits

Make this first aid kit for your home and teach your kids the importance of being prepared.


	Dora Printable Template or Diego Printable Template

	White square gift box

	Scissors

	Craft glue

	Red electrical tape

	Red craft foam (optional)

Choose a Character
Print either the Dora Printable Template or Diego Printable Template, and help your kids cut out the character image and the red cross.

Decorate the Top
Glue the character image to the top of the box, just right of the center.

Trace the red cross template onto red craft foam and cut out the shape. (If you do not have red craft foam, you can simply use the paper template.)

Glue the foam (or paper) cross over the character's body allowing their face to appear.

Create the Hinges
To create two hinges at the back of the box, snip two 1 1/2-inch lengths of red electrical tape. Apply them vertically so that the top now hinges to the base of the box.

Final Touches
Run the red electrical tape around the lower edge of the lid to create a decorative trim.
