Diego sets out to repair Luna the moon so the newly hatched baby sea turtles can find their way to the ocean in this double-length episode of the popular children's TV show.

Kids will get so excited about the idea of sitting around a bonfire late at night, you'd better be prepared to head to the beach with them for a moonlight storytime just like Diego's family does in this never-before-seen movie. Preschoolers will love the Humpty Dumpty-like story of Luna, who breaks into pieces and falls to Earth after she's hit by a comet. They'll be impressed that Diego, more determined than all the king's horses and all the king's men, actually puts Luna together again and saves the day--and night!
Baby (0-2)
Maybe Because this is a double-length episode, it may be too long for very young babies to sit through. They will love the animals, though, especially the baby sea turtles who wander around the beach, lost, until Luna can light up their way to the ocean. Two-year-olds will enjoy the way Luna's pieces fit together like a puzzle, and will be glad to hear at the end that Diego just made up the whole story and the moon can't really break or fall down!
Preschool (3-5)
Yes Preschoolers will be fascinated by the hero of "Tuga Helps the Moon," and will be surprised to learn so much interesting information about leatherback sea turtles, like the fact that they can eat jellyfish without getting stung, they can stretch their necks out really far to reach what they need, and they use their flippers to dig or swim super fast. As Diego and Tuga make their journey to help Luna, preschoolers will get to practice counting skills and Spanish vocabulary.
Kids (6-9)
Maybe Most children in this age group have outgrown Diego, but those on the younger end may still enjoy the animated adventure and learning so many new words in Spanish.
Tweens (10-12)
No This DVD is intended for younger children.
