Musical
Miley Cyrus and alter-ego Hannah Montana perform in concert during her smash 2007 tour.
For all the fans who couldn't get tickets to this show due to scalpers, the movie is the next best thing. In fact, it may even be better! Because it's in 3-D, young viewers will feel like they’ve been given VIP seats and that Miley is singing right to them. They'll get a bird's-eye view of all the action onstage--and off. The fact that heartthrobs the Jonas brothers also perform is simply icing on the cake. The concert is so full of energy and Miley's enthusiasm is infectious, movie theaters may once again be filled with screaming fans who appreciate her down-to-earth attitude and personal lyrics. There may be plenty of boys in the audience, but there's no question--as Miley herself sings--"Its a girls' night."
This movie is intended for older children.

Kids on the younger end of this age group may not have the patience to keep the 3-D glasses on or watch the entire concert--unless they're fans of Miley! The pop princess's lyrics are very empowering to young girls as they reassure "everybody makes mistakes, everybody has those days," and "life's what you make it." Audiences will love seeing Miley end the concert with a rocking duet of "The Best of Both Worlds" with--via giant video screens--Hannah Montana, and they'll get a kick out of the guitar picks and drumsticks that go flying in 3-D.
Tween girls adore Miley because she makes them believe anyone can don a wig and become a rock star. By singing to them, "the best part's that you get to be whoever you want to be," she gives them the hope and confidence to go after their dreams. Girls relate to her because of lyrics like "I'm just an ordinary girl/underneath it all I'm just like you"--and that becomes apparent in this movie. When she needs help, she calls for "Mommy!" and when her dancers accidentally drop her during a number, she's afraid to do that number again. No demanding diva, Miley is a hard-working professional who proves you really can have the best of both worlds!
