		The mischievous menagerie joins a European circus in an attempt to get back to their home at the Central Park Zoo. Kids loved the first two animated adventures, and this one may actually be the most fun yet! Alex the lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the zebra (Chris Rock), Gloria the hippo (Jada Pickett Smith) and Melman the giraffe (David Schwimmer) are as adorable as ever, and young viewers will have a blast watching them do their tricks. The movie is fast-paced, the 3D is worth springing for, and the whole experience is as family-friendly as, well, a day at the circus!


	This movie is intended for older children.

The action may be a little too frenetic for younger preschoolers, who may also be frightened by the out-of-control Animal Control agent determined to turn Alex's head into a trophy for her wall. Five-year-olds will be awestruck by the 3D, which brings them right into the candy-colored world of the larger-than-life characters and which is used to gimmicky-but-effective result--especially when pillow feathers go flying!


	Kids will smile through most of the movie, appreciating Gloria and Melman's tightrope antics and the fact that a tiger faces his fears and literally jumps through hoops to help his friends. They'll see the importance of working together and being passionate about what you do, and they'll love that Alex's friends recreate New York City--in African mud!--for him for his birthday.

Although tweens may think they've outgrown these animated animals, they're likely to find themselves thoroughly charmed. Many kids in this age group will relate to Melman's self-consciousness about dancing, and will be empowered when he overcomes his feelings. They'll enjoy the scenic tour of Europe, getting to see sites like the Vatican and the Colosseum, and they'll realize--when the gang makes their way back to the zoo--that you really do have to be careful what you wish for.
