		Charged with watching over the children of the world, the Guardians--Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and the Sandman--enlist the help of their latest member, Jack Frost, to help them ward off evil spirit Pitch. Young viewers will be awestruck seeing all their childhood icons together and turned into superheroes! Because the story has a definite dark side, it may be too frightening for preschoolers--who don’t have to be convinced to believe in these legends! The Guardians are responsible for protecting the “eyes that are full of wonder” which come naturally to children, and this family flick takes that job seriously. Taking full advantage of its beloved characters and the technical possibilities of 3D, it is literally a wonder to behold.

	Pitch, a.k.a. the Boogeyman, is too scary for very young children, as he tries to turn dreams into nightmares and make the world a dark, fearful place. Five-year-olds will adore seeing all of these big-name legends in one place, and will wonder why anyone wouldn't believe in them!

Although most tweens have long since given up believing in these childhood myths, they'll realize the movie is more than a sugary tribute to those legends as soon as Santa appears onscreen with a "Naughty" tattoo on one arm and a "Nice" one on the other! The movie just may inspire a feeling of nostalgia in older kids, who may make it their own mission to keep the spirit alive for their younger siblings.
