Members of a dance group known as The Mob decide to use their skills to protest the destruction of their Miami neighborhood at the hands of a wealthy businessman.
This latest installment in the popular "Step Up" franchise may be predictable and not particularly original, but young audiences won’t care. The kids are there for the dancing, which is exciting and fun to watch--especially in 3D. In the movie, The Mob needs 10 million hits on YouTube to win a contest, and viewers have already made sure the trailer has already surpassed that!

There may be too much suggestiveness, social drinking, and illegal behavior for younger children, although they will be captivated by the dancing and some of the dancers from So You Think You Can Dance. Older kids will find it empowering that rebellious Emily is able to make a difference, and they'll take to heart Sean's philosophy that everyone has a voice, and that sometimes you have to use it to shout. For tweens who may never experience a flash mob in person, this energetic 3D movie will make them feel like they're right there.
The combo pack comes with 3-D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD and digital copies of the movie, as well as the UltraViolet feature, which allows viewers to download it to tablets, computers, TVs and smartphones. The DVD and the Blu-ray each include two music videos, deleted scenes, a flash mob index and four segments about the making of the movie.
