ABOUT THE EXPERT
As a contributing writer for Entertainment Weekly, Lois Alter Mark wrote the magazine's popular Parents' Guide column for more than 10 years. She has written about movies and videos for Parenting magazine and reviewed children's CDs for Disney Online. Additionally, Lois has served as a judge for the prestigious Parents' Choice Awards, sponsored by the Parents' Choice Foundation--the nation's oldest not-for-profit evaluator of children's entertainment. She is also the author of Wonderplay, a bestselling parent/child activity book written in conjunction with New York City's 92nd Street Y. Lois lives in San Diego with her husband, two children, and their dog.
