Step 1
Print out a lantern template from the paper lantern pack and help your child make one. Show your child how to fold the lantern pattern in half, following the dotted line in the center and then cut along the six vertical dotted lines.
Step 2
Use tape or a glue stick to secure the sides of the lantern pattern together where indicated.
Step 3
Tie a ribbon or a piece of string to the handle to hang the lantern or join several lanterns together to make a chain.
