Use these printable instructions with our step-by-step video instructions to turn your kids into their favorite TV pup, Blue.

What You Need
Water-based face paints
Brushes or cotton swabs
Water for mixing the paints (and for the cleanup)
Washcloths, wipes, or paper towels (just in case)

What You Do

Step 1
Start by painting a dark blue mushroom shape on the tip of the nose.

Step 2
Next, paint light blue circles in various sizes on the face--forehead, cheeks, and chin. Just add a costume and it's Blue!

Step 3
For Slippery: Paint the outline of a rectangle with rounded corners, about a quarter inch thick in a medium shade of blue.

Step 4
Starting from the center out, paint the inside of Slippery's body, but stop a little before the outside line. Use the remaining paint on the brush so it looks sheer. Add water if you need to.

Step 5
Paint the arms on each side, about a quarter inch long.

Step 6
Then paint a three-fingered hand.

Step 7
Paint various size circles under Slippery in sheer light blue. These will be the bubbles that Slippery makes.

Step 8
Paint two black oblongs for the eyes and the eyebrow above.

Step 9
For the mouth, paint a semicircle in light pink, just a little to one side.
