Ingredients
6 cups air-popped or microwaved popcorn
1 cup any combination of the following add-ins: raisins, chopped dried fruit, honey-nut wheat germ, nuts, soy nuts
1 cup honey
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
Nonstick cooking spray

Start Cooking

Step 1
Combine the popcorn and add-ins of your choice in a very large bowl.

Step 2
In a large saucepan, stir the honey and brown sugar over medium heat, just until the sugar dissolves. Turn off the heat and stir in the peanut butter. (Parents should do this step.)

Step 3
Immediately pour the sugar/peanut butter mixture over the popcorn and stir with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula until all the popcorn is coated.

Step 4
Carefully spoon the hot popcorn mixture into a pie pan.

Step 5
The mixture will be very hot. To protect kids' hands, cover the filling with a piece of waxed paper and a clean dish towel. Shape the mixture into a high mound.

Step 6
Remove the towel and waxed paper. Cool completely before serving in wedges.
