Combine the flour and the salt in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Combine the warm water and sugar in a liquid measuring cup. Sprinkle the yeast over the warm water and let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes. Pour the water and oil into the food processor and process until the mixture becomes a ball.
Remove the dough from the food processor and place on lightly floured work surface. Knead slightly until smooth. Place in an oiled bowl and let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. (Or place in a gallon-size resealable bag and refrigerate overnight.)
Punch down the dough and let rise for another 45 minutes. (Allow refrigerated dough come to room temperature.)
Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece on a clean surface, with a bit of flour if necessary, to a 6-inch circle.
When you're ready to add toppings, sprinkle two sheet pans lightly with cornmeal. Place the dough disks on the prepared sheet pans and top with sauce and toppings. Bake with oven rack in lowest position at 500°F until pizza is golden and bubbly; 7 to 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and cool slightly.
