  • 1 bag (12 oz.) Birds Eye® Steamfresh® Sweet Peas, cooked according to package directions
  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey or beef
  • 1 cup reduced sodium tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp. honey or brown sugar
  • 1 cup low fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 whole-grain hamburger rolls


  1. Step 1

    Brown ground turkey in 12-inch nonstick skillet; strain off any fat.

  2. Step 2

    Add tomato sauce and honey and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in cheese and prepared sweet peas, stirring until cheese is melted.

  3. Step 3

    Serve warm on rolls.
