Bot Mummy Cupcakes

Ingredients

• 1 can (16 oz.) vanilla frosting
• Neon green, green and black food coloring
• 1/2 cup dark chocolate frosting
• 12 unfrosted cupcakes, any flavor
• 6 thin pretzel sticks
• 6 blue fruit chews, (Jolly Rancher)
• 12 blue mini candy-coated chocolates (M&M’s minis)

• Small plastic resealable bags

Directions

1. Step 1

   Spoon 1 1/2 cups of the vanilla frosting into a resealable bag and seal the bag. Tint 1 tablespoon of the vanilla frosting blue with the blue food coloring and spoon into a resealable bag. Tint the remaining vanilla frosting neon green with the food coloring. Tint the dark chocolate frosting black with the food coloring and spoon into a resealable bag. Seal the bags.

2. Step 2

   Roll out each blue fruit chew to a 3 1/2- by 1-inch rectangle. Cut each rectangle in half lengthwise. Set the candies aside on a sheet of wax paper until ready to use. Cut the pretzel sticks in half.

3. Step 3

   Spread a thin layer of neon green frosting on top of the cupcakes and make smooth. Place the blue strip of fruit chew on the upper third of the frosted cupcake. Insert the pretzel piece in the upper right side of the cupcake for Bot's antennae.

4. Step 4

   Snip a very small corner from the bag with the black and blue frosting. Pipe a black line of frosting across the fruit chew and pipe Bot's eyes.

5. Step 5

   Snip a 1/4-inch corner from the bag with the vanilla frosting. Pipe the white lines of frosting to look like a mummy costume over the top and bottom of the cupcake. Add the green candy to the top of the frosted pretzel stick. Pipe a black line across the top of the candy. Pipe a dot of blue frosting in the center of each candy.
