Diego's Chocolate Safari Smoothie

This recipe requires extra parent involvement and a watchful eye, because it may require sharp tools or hot pans.

Ingredients

1 cup chocolate milk
1 large banana, peeled and cut up
1 tbsp. wheat germ, plus more for the top
1/2 cup ice
1 tsp. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. chocolate jimmies

Directions

Step 1
Combine the first four ingredients in the blender. Blend until smooth. Scrape down the sides and process until smooth.
Step 2
Brush the lip of the glass with the corn syrup. Dip the edge in the chocolate sprinkles to coat.
Step 3
Pour the smoothie into the prepared glasses. Sprinkle the top with more wheat germ.
Step 4 (Optional)
Print out the Diego Straw Toppers, follow the instructions, and then top off each drink with a Diego straw!
