The Fresh Beats Go Bananas Split

Kids will go bananas for this sweet treat featuring ripe bananas, ice cream, hot fudge and colorful rainbow sprinkles. Don't forget to add the cherry on top!

Try this recipe at your child's next party. Double the ingredients or divide them in half, depending on the size of your celebration.

Ingredients

3 tbsp. hot fudge sauce, divided
2 small bananas
2 large scoops of vanilla or favorite flavored ice cream
3 tbsp. whipped topping, divided
2 maraschino cherries
1 tbsp. rainbow sprinkles

Tip: If your kids aren't fans of vanilla, use any flavor ice cream.

Directions

Step 1
Spoon the hot fudge sauce into a small plastic resealable bag, press out the excess air and seal the bag. Microwave the hot fudge for 5-10 seconds, massage the bag once until warm and set aside.
Step 2
Peel each banana. Cut each banana in half lengthwise. Arrange two banana pieces in twp shallow oval bowls. Place a scoop of ice cream in each bowl. Snip a small corner from the bag containing the warm hot fudge and squeeze half of the hot fudge onto each scoop of ice cream.
Step 3
Top each scoop with whipped topping, a maraschino cherry and rainbow sprinkles.
