Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced strawberries or blueberries
  • 1 tbsp. strawberry jam
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 8 thin waffle cookies

Supplies

  • Cookie sheet
  • Wax paper
Tip: You can easily use frozen sliced strawberries in this recipe. Thaw them out according to package directions, so that you can combine them with the strawberry jam.

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Place four cookies on the cookie sheet.

  2. Step 2

    Combine sliced strawberries or blueberries and jam in a bowl. Kids can stir with a spoon or fork until well blended. Use a rubber spatula to add the whipped topping to the berry mixture, and let kids and mix until the berries are blended.

  3. Step 3

    Spoon about 1/2 cup of the mixture on top of each of the four cookies. Have kids top with the remaining cookies to make a sandwich.

  4. Step 4

    Place the cookie tray in the freezer until the filling is set, about 1 hour. Enjoy a delicious frozen treat!

Tip: Feel free to double this recipe if you're cooking for a crowd. You may want to clear some room in your freezer before you start preparing the recipe.
