Max & Ruby's Frozen Strawberry Sandwiches

Packed with strawberries and a creamy filling, these sandwiches are fun to make ahead. For every hot day, you'll have a chilly dessert at the ready.

The rabbits run every day on Nick & NIck Jr.

Ingredients

• 1 cup sliced strawberries or blueberries
• 1 tbsp. strawberry jam
• 1 cup whipped topping
• 8 thin waffle cookies

Supplies

• Cookie sheet
• Wax paper

Directions

1. Step 1

   Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Place four cookies on the cookie sheet.

2. Step 2

   Combine sliced strawberries or blueberries and jam in a bowl. Kids can stir with a spoon or fork until well blended. Use a rubber spatula to add the whipped topping to the berry mixture, and let kids and mix until the berries are blended.

3. Step 3

   Spoon about 1/2 cup of the mixture on top of each of the four cookies. Have kids top with the remaining cookies to make a sandwich.

4. Step 4

   Place the cookie tray in the freezer until the filling is set, about 1 hour. Enjoy a delicious frozen treat!
