Hot Mulled Cider

Make this delicious hot apple-cinnamon drink to warm up cold tummies. Or, whip up a big batch and serve in a punch bowl at holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

2 cups apple cider
2 cinnamon sticks
1 clove
1 tart apple, cored and sliced

Directions

Step 1
Bring the cider, cinnamon sticks, and clove to a simmer over medium heat in a small sauce pot. Let the mixture simmer for about 3 minutes.
Step 2
Pour into mugs and add the sliced apples. Have your child carefully garnish each mug with a cinnamon stick.
