Kai-lan Sun Cupcakes

Ingredients

• 1 can (16 oz.) vanilla frosting
• Yellow and black food coloring
• 2 tbsp. dark chocolate frosting
• 2 red fruit chews (like Starburst)
• 12 unfrosted cupcakes in your child's favorite flavor
• 1 cup mini marshmallows
• 24 round pink flat candy decors

• Small, plastic resealable bag

Directions

1. Step 1

   Tint the vanilla frosting bright yellow with the yellow food coloring. Tint the dark chocolate frosting black with the black food coloring and spoon the black frosting into a small resealable bag.

2. Step 2

   Flatten the red fruit chews and cut into 12 small half-moon pieces as the mouth.

3. Step 3

   Spread the tops of the cupcakes with the yellow frosting and make smooth. Add several mini marshmallows on the bottom sides of the frosted cupcakes as the clouds. Snip a very small corner from the bag with the black frosting. Pipe dots as eyes on the cupcakes. Add the pink sprinkles for the cheeks and the red candy as the mouths.
