Servings: 12

Prep Time: 15 min.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 2 cups vanilla yogurt
  • 12 three oz. paper cups

Supplies

  • Plastic cling wrap
  • 12 wooden craft sticks
  • Blender
Tip: If there are only a few hungry people at your house, feel free to halve this recipe. If you want to make very small treats, consider buying the tiniest paper cups, like those created for bathroom dispensers.

Directions

  1. Step 1

Help kids drop the strawberries into a blender and spoon the yogurt. Place the lid on the blender and mix until mostly smooth. You may want to warn kids that the blender will be a little loud.

  2. Step 2

Pour the blended strawberries and yogurt into a bowl. Show your kids how to fill the paper cups with the mixture using a spoon, and cover each with a piece of plastic cling wrap.

  3. Step 3

Parents can make a small slit in the middle of the plastic wrap. Kids can help poke a craft stick through the hole and into the cup.

  4. Step 4

Place the paper cups in the freezer for about two hours or until firm. Kids should remove the plastic wrap and tear away the paper cup before eating.

Tip: Don't forget to taste the ingredients before you add them to the blender!
