Purple Planet Smoothie

Ingredients

• 3 marshmallows
• 1 tbsp. light corn syrup
• 4 tbsp. purple decorating sugar
• 3 straws
• 1 package Pop Rocks candy
• 1 cup ice
• 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
• 1 cup grape juice

Directions

1. Step 1

   Thread a marshmallow onto a straw about 3 inches down from the top. Repeat with the other marshmallows and straws. Trim the edges of the marshmallows to make it more rounded.

2. Step 2

   Heat the corn syrup in a small container until bubbly, about 5 seconds. Spread the hot syrup all over the marshmallow in a thin layer. Immediately sprinkle or roll the brushed marshmallow into the purple sugar to coat. Repeat with the other marshmallows.

3. Step 3

   Spread the Pop Rocks in a shallow dish. Lightly brush the top edge of three small glasses with some of the remaining corn syrup. Dip the coated rim in the Pop Rocks.

4. Step 4

   Combine the ice, blueberries, and grape juice in a blender. Pulse until smooth. Add 1/4 cup of water if mixture is too thick.

5. Step 5

   Divide the smoothie between the three glasses. Add the marshmallow straw and straw topper.
