Spinach and Goat Cheese Pizza

Kids and adults alike will want seconds of this pizza, which features fresh spinach and goat cheese.

Ingredients

1 plain bagel, halved to make 2 rounds
6 tbsp. prepared pizza sauce
1 cup cleaned baby spinach leaves
4 tbsp. crumbled goat cheese

Supplies

Cookie sheet
Aluminum foil

Tip: If you are using mini bagels, you may want to tear the spinach into small pieces before tossing with the goat cheese.

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 450°F. Place the bagel halves, cut side up, on a cookie sheet lined with foil.
Step 2
Spread each half with the pizza sauce. Top with the spinach and goat cheese. Place the cookie sheet in the oven and heat until the bagel is lightly toasted and the spinach is lightly wilted, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the bagels from the oven. Transfer to plates.

Tip: Definitely let your child have a nibble of these ingredients before you get started. It might be fun to roll up some spinach leaves for munching.
