Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pie dough (pillsbury)
  • 1 egg beaten well
  • 2 tbsp. yellow decorating sugar
  • 1 tbsp. orange decorating sugar
  • 1 tube white decorating frosting
  • 1 tube brown decorating frosting
  • 2 black jelly beans
  • 2 green candy coated chocolates

Supplies

  • 1 cookie sheet
  • Aluminum foil
  • Rolling pin
  • Tasha Pie Template
  • 1 small knife
  • Pastry brush
  • 1 wire rack

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Unroll the pie dough onto a clean work surface. Roll out lightly with a rolling pin to make flat. Use the template to cut out Tasha's face and 2 flowers with a small knife. Discard scraps.

  2. Step 2

    Using a pastry brush, brush the tops with the beaten egg. Sprinkle face with the yellow sugar and the flowers with the orange sugar. Bake in the oven until golden brown, 7 to 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.

  3. Step 3

    Pipe the white frosting for the eyes. Attach the black jelly beans as the pupils. Pipe the outline and other lines with the brown frosting. Attach the green candies with a dot of brown frosting.

  4. Step 4

    Place the pie topper on top of desired pie.
