Veggie Pizza

On a hard roll, arrange cheese, pizza sauce, and sweet veggies. Present it to kids, pizzeria-style!

Ingredients

• 1 hard roll, halved lengthwise
• 6 tbsp. prepared pizza sauce
• 1/4 cup small blanched broccoli florets
• 1/4 cup diced yellow pepper
• 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese

Supplies

• Cookie sheet
• Aluminum foil

Directions

1. Step 1

   Preheat the oven to 450°F. Place the hard roll halves, cut side up, on a cookie sheet lined with foil.

2. Step 2

   Kids can spread each hard roll half with pizza sauce using a small spoon. Let kids add the broccoli and peppers to a small bowl and toss together. Place the vegetables on top of the sauce. Sprinkle the tops of the pizzas with the cheese. Place the cookie sheet in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5 to 8 minutes.

3. Step 3

   Remove the pizzas from the oven and transfer them to serving plates.
