Servings: Makes 18-20 clusters

Prep Time: 20 min.

Cook Time: 30 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white chocolate, chopped
  • 3 cups unsalted mini pretzel twists or 4 cups short pretzel rods
  • 2 tbsp. each red and green sugars (sprinkles or 1/2 cup crushed red and green 'starlight' mints can also be used)

Directions

  1. Step 1

Line 2 cookie sheets with wax paper.

  2. Step 2

Place the chopped chocolate in a medium metal bowl over a small pot of simmering water. Stir chocolate, not allowing it to get too hot, until smooth.

  3. Step 3

Remove from heat and stir in the pretzel twists. Stir to coat with chocolate. Spoon about 2 to 3 pretzels in a bundle onto the prepared cookie sheets. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the top with the crushed peppermints or sugars. Refrigerate until set, about 5 minutes.

  4. Step 4

Carefully remove the pretzel clusters or sticks from the wax paper and arrange on a serving platter or present in boxes as gifts.
